Something about the character smells good to meat-eating predators. Dinosaurs and other alien predators can’t help but want to eat them.
Firstly, any attempts to use Subterfuge to hide from predators suffer a -2 penalty if they can smell the character. Secondly, given a choice, any hungry monster is going to snack on the character instead of anyone else nearby; they’re always target number one.
